Essay In “The Great Gatsby” The characterization creates a tone of happiness between what they have and what they desire. yes a lot of happiness in this book depended on wealth. Characters in the book and anyone in the world wants to feel happy. Fitzgerald attitude is probably that happiness is very hard to achieve. No one settles for what they have they always want more. Gatsby dedicated his life into getting wealthy and trying to get back with the woman he loved. I think things like wealth can't buy you anything you want.There is a lot of things wealth cant buy like happiness and love . Like gatsby he was rich , but money couldn't buy happiness or daisy.

I took a career test online and I got a civil engineer. I read about it and it seems like a very interesting career. They work on city buildings and other city projects. They have a good amount of salary too. The average salary is about $80,000 a year. I read that you need a bachelor's degree.

One example of imagery in The Great Gatsby is when Fitzgerald mentioned the eyes of Dr.T.J . Eckleburg . I think this illustrates sight.Which I think is to watch out or to look out for something that is going to happen. Also when Fitzgerald mentioned Gatsby's big parties and when he died no one to his funeral. He had money to make those big parties and invite all those people, but in the end  money couldn't buy true friendship. An other one is the valley of ashes. I think the valley of ashes is a run down place where poor people live and who the rich people dislike and think their better then.

In my opinion watching a movie is better than reading . For me a movie will actually catch my attention more than words on a paper.
